I know what you’re thinking. Boudoir? Lingerie? Sounds scary. Actually it sounds frightening, if you ask me. Boudoir photography is most certainly a strange concept to a lot of people. They think “cheesy”, “raunchy” and just plain awkward. But I am here to tell you it is everything but those things! Natural, soft light, sexy, yet tasteful lingerie (and a few mimosas) and we can create the most beautiful pictures, that will leave you speechless. Just think about your husband opening an album of just you in lingerie! It is definitely a present that will quite literally, knock his socks off.
I love wedding photography for many reasons. Capturing a couple on one of the most important days of their lives is truly a blessing and a honor to be a part of. One of the main joys of my job is making you feel your most beautiful and boudoir photography has become a new love of mine for that same reason. The simplicity and emotion that comes from within your client is truly a magical thing to watch and be a part of. You can see all their inhibitions go out the window, as they allow themselves to really open up and let their natural beauty shine through. My goal is to make you comfortable with me, but also with yourself. I love showing my clients pictures throughout any session that I have, to show them how truly stunning they are. Once they see themselves, they relax even more and the magic really starts to happen. That was exactly how this session went. It was such a pleasure to work with this bride to be and I know her soon to be husband is going to be speechless when he opens up his album on their wedding day.

[…] This past Friday, I was so excited to see one of MY photographs featured on Whimsy Unveiled! Every week or so they ask photographers to submit their photos for the specific topic they are focusing on. These past two weeks have been all about the “details.” The “details” of any shoot that I have, are definitely my favorite. I love creating new and exciting ways to show a clients most prized possession, their engagement ring. Check out the full post on Whimsy Unveiled here! Hi Jessica, I am interested in bridal boudoir session. I live in Milford, CT and am getting married in September. I would like to know your pricing and how long a typical session lasts, and where most of these sessions take place.
Thank you!
