Amanda reached out to me through instagram for a beach session with her 6 month old daughter, Madeline this past June. We met at Silver Sands State Park in Milford, CT, which was about an hour away for both of us. We decided to do a morning session, before Madeline’s nap and to beat the […]

This past summer I had the opportunity to photograph a flower and oils workshop hosted by Christina and Christine at Harvest Moon and Orchard in North Salem, NY. The goal of the workshop was to bring women together for a day of learning, sharing and connecting over their passions of flowers and essential oils.

I grew up down the road from Harvest Moon and Orchard in North Salem, a local apple farm that sees thousands of people each year during the fall for their annual apple and fruit picking. Until about 3 years ago, I had no idea that these beautiful fruit trees sprouted gorgeous blossoms during the spring […]

When your family owns an orchard with the most beautiful fruit trees, you must take advantage! I have been photographing Christine and her family for a few years but this was my first time in the orchard when the fruit trees bloom these amazing flowers. Is there anything more fun than stomping through a foot of snow in below freezing weather? I guess the answer to that is yes, but this blanket of winter white snow was so beautiful and dreamy, it was worth every second. Daniela + Tommy have been long time clients, first shooting their engagement session and […]

Nicolette and Magnus came to me when I needed them the most. Even though they were in need of a photographer for their elopement that was happening in 3 days from their initial email, I needed them, more than they needed me. It was late March, we had just gone through a cold and lonely […]

The Clark family welcomed their third boy this spring and I had the pleasure of documenting this new family of five! Carson and Tyler were so enthusiastic to hold their new little brother, Ryan… while also tumbling and laughing during the entire session. You might think that having high energy toddlers would be a disaster […]

After moving back to the east coast from San Diego this summer, Courtney and Brett wanted to document their family while at their summer rental on Milford Beach. ALL ABOUT jessica

My love for photography started in the darkroom. Photography was my creative outlet and true passion in high school and college. Developing film and images myself, by dodging and burning, was something I enjoyed thoroughly. But never in my wildest dreams did I think I could make a career out of it.

Fueled by equal parts coffee and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. Your story, your love, is beautiful and I can't wait to capture it in images you will treasure for years to come.

I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the front porch. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come. Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the images and the world around them.
