The last wedding of my 2015 season was on the most perfect November afternoon. The weather this fall and winter has definitely been on the warmer side so when I initially booked this wedding I did not think outdoor portraits would even be option!
Nathalia and Gustavo’s wedding at the Chart House in Weehawken, NJ was emotional, sentimental and a ton of fun. There was not a dry eye during their ceremony and even though it was in Portguese, I could just feel the true and honest feelings coming from these two. They recited their own, handwritten vows and neither could get through them without shedding a few tears. This beautiful venue is located directly on the Hudson River with stunning views of New York City. The reception was full of dancing and laughter with the cutest, little flower girls running around and dancing. At the end of the day Nathalia pulled me aside and said she would like a photo of these cushion hearts with little saints attached to them in a bouquet. I asked what they were for and she told me in her culture you hand them to all the single women in hopes they will find their future significant other in the near future. What a beautiful tradition!
Nathalia & Gustavo – thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day. It has been a pleasure working with your this past year and wish you both nothing but the best!
