Nora and Daniel had been planning their New York City wedding at the Museum of the City of New York for the past two years, with a new date and season, their dreams finally came true. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and executed by the bride and groom and one of the most amazing teams I have had the pleasure of working with (see all the vendors below). From the start of the day, I knew it was going to be filled with so much love, excitement and emotions.
We started their day at the InterContinental NY Barclay hotel which was the perfect backdrop to capture all their getting ready details. Nora did a first look with her dad and brother, which had the whole room in tears and then we headed to the iconic Central Park Conservatory Gardens for all of our portraits. It was a beautiful but muggy day and the rain in the forecast was definitely a worry but Nora and Daniel took it all with stride. The bridal party was decked out in elegant metallic dresses and sharp black suits.
As we headed to the museum for the ceremony we waited to see if the rain would pass and as the officiant started his walk to the alter, he looked at me and said “its raining,” which it was. But miraculously the drizzle tapered off immediately and never returned. The venue coordinator showed me his weather radar and the museum was the only portion of the city not being rained on at this very moment, it was truly a miracle. The rest of the night went off without a hitch filled with meaningful toasts and lost of dancing. Thank you Nora and Daniel for having us to capture your amazing wedding day.
