The Farmer’s Daughter Wedding with Laura + Mike | Rhode Island Wedding Photographer

filed in

This past August I had the pleasure of traveling to one of my favorite places, Narraganset, Rhode Island. Mike and Laura are from and have lived all over the United States but when they were deciding on a wedding location they chose a special place, Rhode Island. Mike’s family has a summer house that they both love visiting and when the found The Farmer’s Daughter, a cut flower farm that also was a wedding venue, they were sold. The day included many sentimental elements and was also Mike’s birthday! When we arrived at Mike’s summer house, the bridesmaids all serenaded Mike with the “happy birthday” song. Laura made all the bouquets, boutonnieres and table decor. She wore a stunning Jenny Yo gown with her grandmothers veil and ring. We were able to take sunset portraits in the cut flower garden which was truly magical. The ceremony was performed by one of Mike’s groomsmen’s and was filled with laughs and tears. After the ceremony, the bride and groom headed to the cut flower garden for golden hour portraits. Depending on time of the year and schedule, if there is an opportunity to sneak away for even 10 mins during golden hour, we are never disappointed. Laura + Mike – thank you so much for having me, it was a pleasure capturing your wedding day!
